This modest spot at 2303 W 41st St is all about delivering smoked meats that speak for themselves, attracting barbecue lovers who appreciate traditional flavors and craft in every bite.

The heart of the menu lies in its impressive selection of smoked meats served by the pound—turkey legs, tender brisket, slabs of ribs, and pulled pork, among others. The standout, as confirmed by an enthusiastic patron, is the hot link—deeply smoked, flavorful, and far from ordinary. It’s clear that Big Daddys respects the slow, steady process that good barbecue demands.

Beyond the meats, their loaded potatoes with customizable meat choices offer a hearty, comforting side that complements the robust main dishes. Hand-cut fries come generously seasoned, appealing to those who favor strong, savory notes and satisfying textures. It’s simple, no-nonsense Southern fare designed to fill you up and warm you from the inside out.

Stopped in and tried the hot links on their loaded tots. When I tell you the hot links were smoked, I mean they were SMOKED! Look at them in my photo. You may be thinking they look like a burnt hot dog or something, no my friend. That there is some of the best hot links I've ever had! Do yourself a favor and swing by Big Daddys.

Good food but not so much on the communication, lady didn't even acknowledge me when I came in she was talking on the phone with ear buds and the gentleman was nice but didn't hardly talk either...great food but not so much on the customer service side of things...but I will probably go back

Right off of Route 66 tucked away. Great little place with good food and good people. They only have a building where you can go in and order so no seating inside just the two benches outside and the parking was a little small but if you get past those things it's great. The food was very hot and fresh. The fries were big and thick and had good seasoning on them. I got a double cheeseburger that was really good and well made. The price was right and I will be coming back to try their BBQ!

Great find! I just happened to drive by and thought I’d give it a try. The proteins were both really good, I would’ve preferred two containers of sauce, I like bbq saucy and I totally enjoyed their sauce. The okra was pretty good for pre made and the slaw was above average for a barbecue joint. Looking forward to returning.

Had the 3 meat potato both times - most recently with hot links, pulled pork, and brisket. It is absolutely delicious. The second visit made me decide to use Big Daddy's as the benchmark for great BBQ in the area. Good prices for great food!

Had the brisket, pork and a half slab. Smoke flavor was good all around but most prominent on the pulled pork. The Q was all good.. The fried okra was outstanding. The staff was nice. Mostly a grab and go spot.. There is a table outside if you wanna eat there though.
